Aruliden was founded in 2006 by Rinat Aruh and Johan Liden. Their shared vision and expertise have been integral to the agency's success and reputation for cutting-edge design solutions.
Aruliden creates living brands that evolve with culture. They assemble a collective of strategists, graphic artists, and industrial designers to breathe life into brands, translating their strategic essence into both tangible and digital products.
SITE ANALYSIS
At the start of the research process, I explored Aruliden’s website, analyzing their company values, history, and design to gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative agency.
COLORED TABS
Aruliden's black-and-white identity draws attention to the individual works, while the color-coded tabs, inspired by each project's bold primary color. These tabs make it easy for users to quickly locate and explore specific content.
BLACK & WHITE BACKGROUNDS
Using a mix of black and white backgrounds to separate content: white for case study descriptions and black for photo galleries. This mirrors their website, where the works page is white, and the project pages are black.
FINAL PRODUCT
IN CONCLUSION...
Creating this booklet allowed me to hone my skills in pagination and design research. I studied how their visual identity was structured online and reflected that in the layout of the booklet. I was particularly drawn to this agency because they work across various sectors, including industrial, motion, and branding. The challenge, however, was presenting such diverse projects within a cohesive structure.
Looking back at my final design, I see the opportunity to explore a more varied layout that better reflects the uniqueness of each project. By experimenting with a more varied layout, I could better capture the individuality of each project. Such adjustments would allow the design to tell a more dynamic story while still maintaining a coherent overall look.
PAGINATION STUDIES
While examining their website layout and case studies, I found inspiration for my pagination sketches. This process provided valuable insights into how to effectively reflect the design agency's visual identity and structure into my book.
