MY CREATIVE PROCESS

Rooted in an exploration of my surroundings, I blend research-driven strategies with visual design to create captivating, user-centered solutions that are impactful and cohesive

MY CREATIVE PROCESS

Crafting intuitive solutions by intertwining visual storytelling, problem-solving, and creative thinking

1. RESEARCH

Before I start developing visuals for a client, I need to know everything about them and their industry. This includes audience demographics, competitors, pain points, and more. Having a thorough grasp of a client always leads to a better end product.

2. CONCEPTUALIZATION

In design, clarity is crucial, but when opportunities for creativity emerge, I seek to integrate them with purpose. My approach centers on developing thoughtful concepts that deepen customer engagement with the brand. To achieve this, I use mind mapping to push beyond initial ideas and explore more inventive solutions. This process helps me break away from traditional thinking and uncover unique concepts that deliver distinctive and effective outcomes.

3. TRANSLATION

Translating ideas into tangible form is where my vision comes to life. Through sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups, I bring my concepts to reality, inviting others to see and experience the world through my eyes.

Engaging in dialogue is the cornerstone of my design process. I listen deeply to the voices of my peers, clients, and collaborators, valuing their perspectives and insights as invaluable resources for innovation. By inviting diverse viewpoints and fostering a spirit of curiosity and empathy, I enrich the conversation and co-create solutions that resonate with authenticity and relevance.

4. IDENTITY

To create collateral for a brand, it must first have a distinct voice. Colors, logos, patterns, copywriting, and photography style all shape a brand’s perspective in the marketplace. Once established, these elements guide my approach to a project. A brandmark's job is to capture a company’s essence and clearly convey it to the customer. When done right, it's memorable and serves as the perfect distillation of design.

5. ITERATIONS

With each iteration, I refine and evolve my designs, seeking feedback and insights to guide my next steps. By bridging the gap between imagination and execution, I strive to create meaningful artifacts that resonate with authenticity and purpose. This trial-and-error process varies by project, but a well-earned solution often leaves me wondering why the answer didn’t come to me any sooner.
